A 14-year-old White Rock boy has been charged with eight property-related offences allegedly committed in the Cairns region.
Police say he broke into homes and stole property in Mount Sheridan, Whitfield, Mooroobool and Trinity Beach.
He’s also accused of stealing two vehicles from Trinity Beach in April and Cairns North in May.
He was charged with one count each of attempted enter dwelling with intent at night in company whilst damaging property, attempted enter dwelling with intent at night in company, unlawful use of a motor vehicle in the night, stealing, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter premises with intent and enter dwelling with intent by break at night.
Police objected to his bail, and he is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Children’s Court today, 12 June.
