FNQ favourite Aussie Footy Shorts has teamed up with Federal MP Bob Katter for a limited‑edition drop celebrating two of his most iconic one‑liners.
The collection features custom footy shorts inspired by Katter’s viral quotes — including “I’ve punched blokes in the mouth for saying that!” and “Every few months a person is torn to pieces by a crocodile in Far North Queensland.”
Founded by Cairns locals, Aussie Footy Shorts has built a national following for its tongue‑in‑cheek, proudly regional designs. The Katter collab has been a hit, with limited stock still available online and at select Queensland events.
And for Townsville fans — good news. After a huge response last year, the brand is returning to Willows Shopping Centre with a Christmas pop‑up later this year, bringing its full FNQ‑flavoured range back to local shoppers.
