$25 Portable Blender Pulled from Shelves
Kmart has issued a recall for its popular $25 portable USB blender, warning customers of a serious safety risk. The compact blender, sold in white, green, blue, and lilac, may self-activate if the base is immersed in water. This malfunction can cause the blades to spin unexpectedly, posing a risk of cuts or serious injury. The product has been available since January 23, 2025, and was a hit for on-the-go smoothie lovers.

Why the Blender Is Dangerous
Kmart’s official statement warns:
“If the base is immersed in water, it may self-activate without pressing the ON/OFF button.”
This creates a laceration risk due to the sudden exposure of spinning blades.
3D Mini Animal Toys Also Recalled
In a separate recall, Kmart and Target have pulled 3D Mini Animal Toys from shelves. The toys, sold between June 12 and August 13, 2025, may break into small parts, posing a choking hazard for children. Consumers should return the toys for a full refund and keep them out of reach of children.

What to Do If You Own On
Customers should stop using the blender immediately and return it to any Kmart store for a full refund, with or without a receipt. For more information, contact Kmart Customer Service on 1800 124 125 (Mon–Fri, 7am–6pm AEST).
