A 43-year-old Malanda woman has been killed in a two-vehicle crash south east of Atherton.
Emergency services were called to Peeramon around 5.30am yesterday.
Initial investigations indicate a Toyota Hilux and Nissan Patrol were travelling the same direction before they crashed.

The driver of the Toyota Hilux, a 42-year-old Malanda man, has been transported to the Atherton Hospital with neck and arm injuries.
The passenger a 43-year-old, passed away at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash, and appeal to anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage of the incident, or the moments leading up to it, to come forward.
