A woman was bitten by a snake in Westcourt last night.
Paramedics rushing to the scene on Mulgrave Street just before 8pm. She was taken to Cairns Hospital in a stable condition.
It’s a reminder to be cautious around the yard and be alert around piles of leaves or bushes as our slithery friends begin to wake up after winter.
