Smoke warning for Gordonvale and Goldsborough

Gordonvale, Little Mulgrave and Goldsborough locals might see some smoke around today.

Planned burns are being conducted within Wooroonooran National Park and Little Mulgrave National Park.

Smoke can decrease visibility on the roads, so it is important that motorists drive safely and accordingly to the current conditions.

People who may be affected by smoke are urged to take relevant precautionary measures such as keep any respiratory medicine at hand and by staying indoors, closing all windows and doors.
