A man has died in hospital more than a month after being hit by a car near Tully.
Police say the man in his 20s was lying on the road when he was struck by a 4WD on the Bruce Highway at Midgenoo around 1.50am on May 8.
He was flown to Townsville Hospital where he died from his injuries on June 10.

The driver of the 4WD was not physically injured in the incident.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
