Queensland Police are calling on the public to help confirm the true identity of a man facing serious fraud-related charges — and there’s a chance he may have recently been in Cairns.

The man, believed to be 32 years old, has told police his name is Paul Sorin Kimpian, but investigators suspect he may also be using other aliases, including Roman Janecek and Jean Paul Fontaine.

Police have released an image of the man and is urging anyone who may recognise him or know where he lives or who he associates with to come forward.
