A five-vehicle crash in Caravonica on Friday afternoon is now under police investigation, with officers calling for public assistance.
The incident happened around 2:25pm on Kamerunga Road, between Fig Tree Drive and Redford Road. Police say a white Toyota Prado veered into oncoming traffic, hitting multiple vehicles.
A man and a baby were taken to Cairns Hospital for treatment. Four vehicles were damaged in total, and three had to be towed from the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage of the incident or the vehicles beforehand is urged to contact police as investigations continue.
