A mysterious sunken yacht has been found off the coast of Port Douglas.
The 8-metre sailing vessel was spotted by a tourism helicopter, submerged on Saturday morning, between Low Isles and Batt Reef.
No one was onboard, and the mast was tied down with police saying it may have drifted free from a mooring or anchor.

Water Police have released a photo and are urging anyone who recognises the vessel or has information to get in contact.
