Australia is preparing for what’s expected to be the nation’s largest pro-Palestine demonstrations this Sunday, with rallies planned in 21 locations across the country.
Protests will be held in every capital city as well as regional centres including Cairns.
It marks the first time major union federations have formally backed Palestine rallies with organisers saying they’re calling for an end to Australia’s arms trade with Israel.

In Cairns the march will start on the Esplanade at 10am Sunday.
