An Earlville boy has been charged after allegedly breaking into an Edmonton home.
It is alleged around 4.30am yesterday, the 15-year-old was part of a group who broke into the house, stealing personal items before taking car keys and two vehicles.
Police say the boy was involved in several similar incidents in the region over the last week.
He has been charged with six counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle, two counts of enter dwelling, three counts of attempted enter dwelling and one count each of stealing, wilful damage, possess tainted property, breach of bail and driving without a licence.
His bail was denied and he will appear at Cairns Children’s Court at a later date.
