Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault at Manunda.
The incident happened on Hoare Street near the intersection with Gatton Street around 8.30am on October 18.
It’s alleged a 16-year-old girl was hit from behind by a male causing her to fall to the ground.
The girl was then punched and kicked several more times before the male fled on foot.
He is described as first nation in appearance, tall with short black hair, short trimmed facial hair and was wearing a red, Nike brand jumper, black board shorts and blue joggers.
Any witnesses who saw the incident or anyone who may have relevant dashcam footage is urged to contact police.
