Cairns Bluewater Game Fishing Club 2026 Billfish Tournament
The Cairns Bluewater Game Fishing Club is excited to announce our upcoming Cairns Bluewater Billfish Tournament, being held from 16–19 September 2026.
Our annual tournament attracts anglers, boats, families and supporters from across the region and beyond, including competitors from Papua New Guinea.
Wednesday 16th September
Briefing night will commence at 6.00pm in the Trinity Room, Shangri-La, Cairns Marina. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks can be purchased on the night.
Thursday 17th September
Day 1 Fishing. All boats are required to be at the ready for 0700hrs for shotgun start. Start fishing @ 0800hrs – cease fishing 1700hrs.
Friday 18th September
Day 2 Fishing. Start fishing @ 0800hrs – cease fishing 1700hrs.
Saturday 19th of September
Day 3 Fishing. Start fishing @ 0700hrs – cease fishing 1500hrs.
