McHappy Day is the largest national fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), bringing communities together across Australia to support families with seriously ill or injured children. Since it began in 1991, McHappy Day has raised over $79 million, helping RMHC provide vital support services that keep families close to their children while they receive hospital care.

Why McHappy Day Matters
When a child becomes seriously ill or injured, families are often forced to travel long distances for treatment. RMHC supports these families through programs such as Ronald McDonald Houses, Family Rooms, Family Retreats, Hospitality Carts and Learning Programs, offering comfort, care and connection during incredibly challenging times. McHappy Day fundraising plays a critical role in making these services possible for more than 69,000 families each year.
