The Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation is a proudly local charity dedicated to improving health care right across our region. Since 1997, the Foundation has worked hand‑in‑hand with hospitals, health services, volunteers and the community to fund life‑saving equipment, upgraded facilities, medical research, staff training and vital patient support services, helping ensure world‑class health care is available close to home.

What makes the FNQ Hospital Foundation unique is its social enterprise model, which covers all administration costs. This means 100% of donations go directly back into hospitals and health services across Far North Queensland, supporting care from Cairns to the Torres Strait.
