An 18-year-old man has been charged with fraud and for stealing a vehicle, cash and credit cards from an Edmonton home.
Police say the Manoora man entered a home on Slipper Street in the early hours of May 26, stealing a wallet and car keys before taking a grey Mitsubishi Pajero.
It’s also alleged he stole fuel from a Manoora fuel station and purchased a power bank with a stolen credit card.
Officers from the Cairns Property Crime Squad and Tactical Crime Squad apprehended the man at about 3.00am yesterday.
He was charged with one count each of fraud, enter dwelling and commit and receiving tainted property.
He is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on June 22.
