Cairns crowds were treated to a flawless performance from Brazilian rider Alison Aguiar, who backed up his Townsville win with a perfect night in the arena at a packed Cairns Invitational.

Aguiar was the only rider to go 2-for-2, locking in the win with an 86.25-point ride aboard Ambush. His 172-point aggregate sealed the victory at the Cairns Invitational, while Mareeba’s Kurt Shephard wowed fans with the highest-scoring ride of the night – finishing second, extending his No.1 spot in the national rankings.

Two bulls also stole the spotlight in Cairns — Alpha Blokes Warden and Nirvana both scored 44.25 points, sharing the YETI High Marked Bull of the Night.
