These Kids Cakes Are Morbid, but the Three Year Old's Reason for It Is Genius!
Two children have caught the attention of the internet after their unusual cake requests were shared online. When you see the three-year-old's reason behind the theme, you'll agree it's genius!
The two unrelated birthdays had particularly morbid themes, but the internet found amusement in such bizarre requests for their cakes.
The first cake, shared by @caseyfeigh on Twitter, was a request from her three-year-old niece. She wrote:
"My niece turned 3 today!! She asked for a Lion King cake but specifically the moment where Mufasa dies, because “everyone will be too sad to eat the cake and it will be all for me.”

Three-year-old Leona asked for a Lion King cake, which would usually be normal, but she specifically requested it be the tragic moment where Mufasa dies. Why? Because she said, “everyone will be too sad to eat the cake and it will be all for me.” Genius!
Another girl, turning six years old requested a cake depicting the future Queen Elizabeth I witnessing the execution of Anne Boleyn by Henry VIII. Her dad @KingsleyEdmund shared the unusually specific cake on Twitter.
Tomorrow we’ll have a six year old, and like so many girls her age she insisted on a cake depicting the future Queen Elizabeth I witnessing the execution of Anne Boleyn by Henry VIII pic.twitter.com/4HC5khHjur— Edmund Kingsley (@KingsleyEdmund) May 29, 2021
According to an article by Buzzfeed the then five-year-old said:
"Well, my friend is getting unicorns, but I think what I'd really like is Henry VIII executing Anne Boleyn with Elizabeth I watching.”
He explained the interest in the topic came after the family visited Hampton Court. The cake took him and his wife, Anna, three days to construct.
In response to the cakes, Twitter users wrote:
What??!! No, this is wierd. I think my daughter had High School Musical at 6. Also, Elizabeth 1 was Anne Boleyns daughter. Why? Don't understand— Sandra Waterhouse (@SandraWaterhou1) May 30, 2021
It’s the side-eye from the wives for me 😂 such detail!! pic.twitter.com/m1QaJuIIa4— Nia ✨🦒⃤.. (@_una_tuna) May 30, 2021
