Storms cause delays in southeast Qld
Gusty thunderstorms and damaging winds have caused disruptions across southeast Queensland on Thursday afternoon.
Peak hour public transport delays for buses and trains were reported across Brisbane and the Gold Coast as storms hit at about 5pm.
Despite the rains the bureau has also issued a severe fire danger warnings for the Darling Downs and Granite Belt, two regions southwest of Brisbane recently hit by bushfires.
