Youths Linked To Attempted Break In At Manunda Sporting Club
Four teenagers have been linked to an attempted break-in at a Manunda sporting club.
The group aged 13 and 14 is accused of trying to get inside the club at Endeavour Park at around 12.20AM on Sunday morning.
A witness contacted police after seeing the group allegedly trying to force open the clubhouse door.
The youths were also seen allegedly damaging a CCTV camera.
They tried to escape when Police arrived but were taken into custody in nearby fields after a cordon was put in place by first response crews and the dog squad.
A 14-year-old boy was charged with attempting to enter a dwelling, wilful damage, stealing, possession of a knife and possession of property suspected of being stolen.
A further two 14-year-old boys and a 13-year-old boy were charged with attempting to enter a dwelling, wilful damage and stealing.
