Vegetation Fire Near Ravenshoe

UPDATED 13/9/19 | Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) is aware of a vegetation fire burning in inaccessible land near Mandalee Road and Yourka Station.

Local landholders are monitoring this fire, and it is posing no threat to property at this time.

Smoke may be visible from surrounding areas.

This fire broke out on Tuesday and is posing no threat to property at this time.

EARLIER 10/9/19 | A vegetation fire is alight at Wooroora, near Ravenshoe.

Firefighters are at the scene of the fire burning near Wooroora Station.

This fire broke out on Monday and is posing no threat to property at this time.

Firefighters and landholders are working to strengthen containment lines and will continue to monitor the fire overnight. Smoke may affect the area.
