A cyclone could form off the coast of Queensland on Tuesday.

A tropical low's located over the eastern Coral Sea approximately 1300 km northeast of the Sunshine Coast and moving towards the south.
The low is expected strengthen a little and adopt a southwesterly track.
Subsequently, the low is most likely to curve to the south during Wednesday, keeping it off the southern Queensland coast.
Gale force winds over the southern flank of the low are expected to produce large east to southeasterly swells along exposed parts of the southern Queensland coast from Wednesday.
