Firefighters leave East Trinity grassfire
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are no longer on scene at a vegetation fire burning near Second Beach in East Trinity (opposite the Cairns Esplanade).
This fire broke out on Saturday, 9 September and local brigades and Queensland Parks and Wildlife are monitoring the fire.
The fire is posing no threat to property at this time.
Smoke may affect the surrounding areas.
Residents are advised to close windows and doors, and keep medications close by if suffering from a respiratory condition.
Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
If residents feel their property is under threat, they should call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
