Police vow to solve Cooktown murder case
Police say they're following up multiple lines of inquiry, including information from interstate, as they continue investigating the murder of Donna Steele.
The body of the 42-year-old was found dumped in a creek west of Cooktown on Sunday.
Detective Inspector Geoff Marsh renewed the appeal for dashcam vision or any other information to come forward.
"We'd also like any person that had contact with Donna in the days and weeks leading up to her tragic death, to come forward," Detective Inspector Marsh says.
"We're not looking for a witness but it may just help us eliminate other lines of enquiry."
There are more than 20 detectives on the ground in Cooktown trying to solve the case with addition police, from other regions, on standby.
