The Leukaemia Foundation's warning we could see a rise in cancer diagnosis rates, post Covid-19.

Today is World Blood Cancer Day, and while the foundation has more than doubled its support for people living with blood cancer since the pandemic struck, it's warning of more difficult times ahead.

A recent report has shown only around half the usual number of Australians visited their GP or other pathology services at the height of the pandemic - and as people start returning to the services, the foundation says we could see diagnosis rates spike.

The Leukaemia Foundation's urging people across the region, not to postpone trips to our GP or specialists and to address any health concerns immediately.
