Paralysis prevails on the Kuranda Range Road
This morning I had an opportunity to catch up with President of the Cairns Chamber of Commerce Nick Loukas about the Cairns Economic Forecast Luncheon coming up next week. But I also took the opportunity to speak to him about what can only be described as 'paralysis' on doing something about the Kuranda Range Road. There is no plan about what to do about this major arterial road that is already at capacity, let alone funding options to make it happen. The time it will take to get the issue addressed means that lives and economic opportunities remain at risk for many years into the future.
