Which way for housing construction in the Cairns region?
BIS Oxford Economics has just released a report forecasting a 31% downturn in residential construction nationwide over the next three years. At the same time, local developers have called on local authorities to help stimulate a recovery in residential construction in the region. Even if local authorities can put forward incentives for growth, may it be a matter of too little too late?
