A woman’s body has been found following a search operation at Palm Cove this morning.
Police were called to the Palm Cove jetty at around 2.25am following reports a woman had entered the water and failed to resurface.
Water Police, Surf Life Saving and local police commenced a search operation of the area.

At 7.15am, Surf Life Saving Queensland volunteers located the body of a woman in waters off Buchans Point beach.
Investigations remain ongoing, however the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
