Police have charged a 22-year-old man following an alleged disturbance on Callaghan Street in Mooroobool this morning.
Just after 1:30am, police were called after it is alleged the man caused a disturbance and threatened a number of people with two swords.
Police attended and took the man into custody nearby.

No one was physically injured in the incident.
A 22-year-old man from Manunda was charged with one count of going armed as to cause fear.
He was denied police bail and is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court today.
