A search is underway at Palm Cove after it’s believed a woman in her 40s jumped from the end of the jetty overnight.
Emergency Crews were alerted to the woman’s disappearance around 2.25am this morning.
Water Police are responding alongside other agencies to help rescue the woman.

It’s believed she is Caucasian in appearance and about in her 40s.
Some items left behind include pink thongs and a white hotel towel.
Anyone who may be able to identify the woman, is urged to contact police.
