Courageous students awarded

Today I spoke to Gary Hunter, Acting Inspector, about two brave high school students that came to the aid of a child in distress. Listen below to our discussion.Leroy Kelly and Eshton Williamson helped a child who was allegedly threatened with a screwdriver and forced to hand over his belongings. With the help of the boys, Police were able to charge the alleged offender. On Monday during their school assembly at St Augustine's College, both students were presented with a District Officer's Certificate of Appreciation for their prompt and courageous intervention. Well done boys.
