Where does the LNP stand on crime?

Today I had Tim Mander the deputy leader for LNP and Sam Marino the LNP candidate for Cairns in the studio today to talk face to face about the juvenile crime wave. Juvenile crime has dominated the news headlines in recent years and the rate is, unfortunately, continuing to grow at an alarming rate. Listen below to hear what the local candidate and the shadow deputy leader had to say on the hot topic.

As of this morning, 88 vehicles have been stolen this month bringing the total up for the year to 146 and it's only February. As I said on air this morning the very definition of insanity is repeating the same mistakes over and over again and expecting different results. Numerous avenues have been explored on how to deal with the rising juvenile crime rate but there has been no successful outcome.  We need a new approach to beat youth crime and with the state election looming on the horizon, it's the perfect time for the opposition to take a new approach to youth crime.
