It’s Masters Games time! The region’s biggest Masters Games celebration - the Great Barrier Reef Masters is ON IN MAY.

Compete on the reef - plenty of sports to choose from – athletics, trail and road running, duathlon and swimming (from 18 years old) just to name a few.
Party in paradise - the games are renowned for the social program almost as much as the sports. If you like a party, the event includes 3 fantastic nights of social fun.

You don’t need to be a superstar to participate! Entry is open to all who meet the minimum age criteria, which is 30 years in most sports. Participants are able to enter multiple sports.

If you used to play a sport and want to get the team together NOW is the time to pull on the (possibly dusty) runners and experience the fun, friendship and healthy competition that is masters.
