Big Brother Australia is back and the drama is already starting to bubble. On Sunday night the show returned to our airwaves with many viewers, new and old, praising the shows return and new host Mel Tracina. However the night was somewhat spoiled by an accident technical mishap that prevented viewers from engaging with the show directly.
The show has advertised that a surprise 13th housemate will be joining the show at the conclusion of the second episode. The surprise 13th housemate will be selected by viewers, the audience has been presented with two options for a 13th housemate which they can cast their vote for online. When it came to voting, a QR code was flashed on screen for fans to scan to cast their vote. However, the QR code only took fans to the 10 app and didn’t allow viewers to cast a vote.
The Big Brother instagram page became littered with fans informing the page of the problem that no one could vote. Big Brother finally responded informing everyone that they were in the progress of fixing the page to allow people to vote before our new housemate joins the party on Monday night. It has now finally be repaired and people are now able to vote for either Jane (67) or Mitch (36).
