Pair to face court over alleged false statement
Two men are being accused of colluding to get one of them to take the wrap for the other for a drug offence.
Police allege the 42-year-old Julatten man wanted to protect his liquor licence by arranging for a 46-year-old, also from Julatten, to submit court documents to take responsibility for the crime earlier this year.
Things came unstuck for the 42-year-old on Wednesday when police searched his home, allegedly finding cannabis, methamphetamine and a pipe.
Both will go to court on Monday.
