It all starts when I get  out of bed at 3.40am Monday to Friday.
Starting in the media in late 1972,{ I was only 3! } a career that had me co-host a Top rating children’s Television show in Victoria called ‘ SURPRISE SURPRISE’ for six years and various roles in  Australian Movies such as the ‘Lancaster Miller Affair’ and others plus many and varied roles on Aussie T.V shows like ‘Flying Doctors’ and ‘Carson’s Law’ and a Music Industry TV show for Melbourne and Sydney called ‘WROK Australia’ live at five on 10.

My hobbies have been in Endurance Horse Riding which took up some spare time, with the fulfilment of a dream for me and that was to complete the famed ‘TOM QUILTY160 K RIDE’ and eventually to achieve five gold and silver completion buckles. Oh and did I mention a little cancer scare and a pilots licence!
The Radio Goal had always been to go from my starting position as a ‘Cartridge operator’ at 5KA Adelaide to one day being Manager of my own station. After being an Announcer in many Top rating stations like 3xy, 3kz Melbourne and others Australia wide, becoming a ‘Program Manager’ and then completing the ‘Diploma of Radio Sales Management’ this was achieved at Sea FM Mackay .

For something completely different the Completion of The Real Estate Certificate. At one stage for 10 months I worked at ‘SEAWORLD’ on the Gold Coast as an announcer Show Producer Marine, Mammal and Entertainment Division and studied for a Japanese Language Certificate Course, Southport TAFE. I was then poached to work as a Queensland Sales Manager (Mining & Heavy Industry) which was indeed a great challenge in a completely different field for  Techenomics International Pty. Ltd.

Then in 2000 I was asked to return to Radio to a place I had worked in 1975/6, and that 4ca Cairns, Qld. A place that is dear to my heart and a place I call home.
And still ‘on air’ at ‘news talk’ 4ca am 846
